Regional convention of Grade-3 and 4th Employees Federation concludes

The first regional convention of the Grade-3 and 4th employees of the Chhattisgarh Seed and Agriculture Development Corporation concluded recently. While the programme commenced with H P Sahu lighting up the traditional lamp to formally commence the convention, R P Goswami presided over the function.

418 youth given employment opportunities in Naya Raipur

As per announcement of Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, the initiative of providing employment oriented training to youths of villages situated in Naya Raipur area is given good results. More than 1,000 boys-girls have been provided with skill development training related to different trade in the Chhattisgarh Construction Academy through Naya Raipur Authority in village Kayabandha of Naya Raipur. of these, 418 youths have also been given employment opportunities.

RSU employees to get 58% DA

The Executive Council (EC) of Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (RSU) approved 58 per cent dearness allowance for its employees following the State government decision which came into effect a few days back. Beside, the EC also decided to deprive the examiners of all the activities related to examination work for two years if the difference between the actual marks and the revaluation marks found more than 30 per cent in case of revaluation of the answer sheets. Similarly, the EC approved the proposal of increasing the retirement age of teachers from 62 to 65.

Shikshakarmis to get NOCs for transfer

After a long debate, the General Administration Department (GAD) of District Panchayat decided to lift ban on issuing no-objection certificates for the transfer of eligible Shikshakarmis. During a meeting of District Panchayat GAD held on Monday, a proposal regarding applications submitted by Shikshakarmis for transfer was put in first.

CCTGEA protests for four point demands

Members of Chhattisgarh Class Three Government Employees Association (CCTGEA) staged dharna protest in support of their four points demand at Budhatalab recently. It is to be mentioned here the members of aforesaid association has called up their sine die strike from April 7. Members of CCTGEA including Conservator Narendra Chandrakar, State President Kedar Chandrakar, General Secretary C L Sahu, Anil Shrivastava, State Secretary Rakesh Sahu, Jiya Ur Rasheed, Bhupendra Verma, SP Upadhaya and Bhupesh Kaushik were also present.

Rajya Karmachari Sangh criticises Govt for poor administration

Chhattisgarh Rajya Karmachari Dangh has criticised the State Government for its poor administration which has resulted in damage to the forest department. Due toi the pitiable condition of State administration, many senior officers of Indian Forest Services (IFS) are on deputation in other departments such as environment, panchayat, industry , mineral, tourism, culture, housing board, infrastructure development, information technology etc, said Sangh State president Mahendra Jain and State general secretary Virendra Namdev.

Class 3 employees to go on strike

Chhattisgarh Class 3 Government Employees Association (CCTGEA) has announced to go on indefinite strike from April 7 against the present unauthorised recuitment process and to regularize 484 contractual employees and 200 guest lecturers, who are rendering their services since last 14 years in various Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) across the State.

CM announces salary hike for Shikshakarmis, 7 pc DA to Govt employees

There was a liberal declaration of rewards by Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh while responding to the discussion on Appropriation Bill 2012 in the Assembly on Friday. The Chief Minister announced that new wages will be given to Panchayat Teachers (Shikshakarmi) and the Chhattisgarh Government employees will get 7 per cent Dearness Allowance from April 1, 2012. They will also be given the next instalment of the DA in July 2012. By the end of the DA between the Central and State Government employees will be abolished.

State Government employees demand special allowance for shifting to Naya Raipur

State Government has started preparations for shifting Mantralaya to Naya Raipur. But the officials and employees working in Matntralaya want shifting to be delayed as there is lack of proper infrastructure as most of it are under construction. IN case the shifting is done earlier, the employees have put forth demand of special allowance for shifting. In this regard they have sought time from Chief Secretary to put forth their demand.
