CCTGEA protests for four point demands

Members of Chhattisgarh Class Three Government Employees Association (CCTGEA) staged dharna protest in support of their four points demand at Budhatalab recently. It is to be mentioned here the members of aforesaid association has called up their sine die strike from April 7. Members of CCTGEA including Conservator Narendra Chandrakar, State President Kedar Chandrakar, General Secretary C L Sahu, Anil Shrivastava, State Secretary Rakesh Sahu, Jiya Ur Rasheed, Bhupendra Verma, SP Upadhaya and Bhupesh Kaushik were also present.

Rajya Karmachari Sangh criticises Govt for poor administration

Chhattisgarh Rajya Karmachari Dangh has criticised the State Government for its poor administration which has resulted in damage to the forest department. Due toi the pitiable condition of State administration, many senior officers of Indian Forest Services (IFS) are on deputation in other departments such as environment, panchayat, industry , mineral, tourism, culture, housing board, infrastructure development, information technology etc, said Sangh State president Mahendra Jain and State general secretary Virendra Namdev.

Class 3 employees to go on strike

Chhattisgarh Class 3 Government Employees Association (CCTGEA) has announced to go on indefinite strike from April 7 against the present unauthorised recuitment process and to regularize 484 contractual employees and 200 guest lecturers, who are rendering their services since last 14 years in various Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) across the State.

CM announces salary hike for Shikshakarmis, 7 pc DA to Govt employees

There was a liberal declaration of rewards by Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh while responding to the discussion on Appropriation Bill 2012 in the Assembly on Friday. The Chief Minister announced that new wages will be given to Panchayat Teachers (Shikshakarmi) and the Chhattisgarh Government employees will get 7 per cent Dearness Allowance from April 1, 2012. They will also be given the next instalment of the DA in July 2012. By the end of the DA between the Central and State Government employees will be abolished.

State Government employees demand special allowance for shifting to Naya Raipur

State Government has started preparations for shifting Mantralaya to Naya Raipur. But the officials and employees working in Matntralaya want shifting to be delayed as there is lack of proper infrastructure as most of it are under construction. IN case the shifting is done earlier, the employees have put forth demand of special allowance for shifting. In this regard they have sought time from Chief Secretary to put forth their demand.

Government employees on leave en masse today

All the government employees of the state under the banner of Chhattisgarh Karamchari Adhikari Federation (CKAF) would be on one-day strike on February 28 in support of their two0point demand viz. to give DA to pensioners at per with the Centre and from the date given by the Centre and implement the recommendations of DN Tiwari's Committee to its full from 1 January 1966. The Federation has got the application from of en mass leave signed by all the government departments in the state secretariat, apart from the teachers in all the government school and clerical staff as well.

Shikshakarmis' symbolic strike tomorrow

Hundred of Shikshakarmis under the banner of Chhattisgarh Shikshakarmi Federation would stage a symbolic dharna at Budhapara, Raipur, to draw State government's attention towards the demands of the shikshakarmis. The shikshakarmis federation has intimated the decision of staging a symbolic one day strike to Chief Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh, Education and Panchayat Secretaries and Raipur district administration and issued ultimatum to intensify the agitation if their demands are not met.

INTUC apprises SAIL mgmt about demands of employees

Steel Workers Union (INTUC) has apprised the SAIL management about the long standing demands of employees ans also handed over the memorandum consisting charter of demands. The memorandum consisting charter of demands regarding new wage revision and other facilities. The delegation representing the Union, led by General Secretary, Dilip Vishwas, after handing over the charter of demands also apprised IR in-charge officer about the aspirations of workers. DGM (IR) M hassan assured the delegation that he would inform about their demands to CEO (BSP) Pankaj Gautam at the earliest.
