Camps will be held in villages to distribute free smart phones : Dr Raman Singh

In his address to Tendupatta Bonus Tihaar organized in village Dohna of Balrampur-Ramanujganj district today, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said that under Soochna Kranti Yojana (SKY), nearly 55 lakh people of state will be provided smart phones free of cost. These smart phones will have information regarding all schemes of State Government and also the application forms for various welfare schemes, which the beneficiaries will be able to download and apply for the scheme from their phones.

CM asks for two grievances redressal camps in a month

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, on Monday, has directed the administration in all of 27 districts to hold at least two public grievances redressal camps in a month. This is aimed at making the administration more sensational and proactive. Chief Minister also stressed that Collector as also district level officials must remain present in the public grievances redressal camps as this would help create direct communication between rurals and the concerned officers and would help in resolution of the problem earlier.
