Public Works Minister Mr. Rajesh Munat on Tuesday toured Bastar as a part of Lok Suraj Mission. He inspected the hospital premises at Dimrapal. He expressed unhappiness over the delay in the construction works of auditorium and other buildings in Bastar district. He added that people in the remote region should have access to medical facilities and hence the construction of Medical College premises at Dimrapal. MLA Mr. Santosh Bafna and senior officers of the Public Works Department were present on the occasion.
CELEBRATING their 7th Raising Day, jawans and officers of 204th Battatlion of Combat Battalion for Resolute Action (COBRA) donated blood and planed saplings at the camp. The uniformed forces are not only ready to shed their own blood as well as the enemies blood for the sake of peace and security of the country, but are also willing to donate blood to help a needy person survive. This was the underlying spirit behind the jawans and officers, Who donated blood at hospital of the camp with help of Maharani Hospital.
Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh visited Maharani Government District Hospital in Jagdalpur Headquarters of Bastar Division yesterday evening and met injured STF personnel undergoing treatment there. These personnel were injured while braving naxal attack in Dornapal area of Sukma district in Bastar Division on April 11. These injured personnel were brought to Jagdalpur via helicopter and were admitted in hospital there. Chief Minister prayed for speedy health recovery of the personnel. Dr Raman Singh has instructed doctors to provide them best possible treatment facility.
Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh on Yesterday said that Republic Day is the festival of all Indians. He said Lok Seva Kendras will be started in all tehsils soon. Public services will be catered through mobile phones. College students will be given Laptops and tablets under the 'Chhattisgarh Yuva Suchna Kranti Yojana'. A 132 k.v. gas-based electric sub-station will be installed at Raipur soon. 'Chief Minister Urban Livelihood Mission' will be launched to provide employment to poor urban youth in 141 local bodies. Dr. Raman Singh said I.I.T and Triple I.T.
The preparations are in full swing for the ensuing Republic Day celebrations in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh will hoist the National Flag on January 26 at Bastar head-quarters town of Jagdalpur and Vidhan Sabha Speaker Mr. Gourishankar Agrawal will hoist the Flag at Sarguja head-quarters town of Ambikapur. The Ministers, MPs and MLAs will hoist the National Flag at all the district head-quarters and read the Chief Minister's message to citizens. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr.
Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today dedicated a 'Composite'building at Jagdalpur in Bastar district. It was constructed at a cost of Rs. 10 crore 50 lakh. It is a three-storeyed building and consists of 104 rooms. Dr. Raman Singh expressed his happiness over the construction of the joint district office building on time. He added as most of the offices will be located under one roof it will be convenient for the public to completed their work at one place. The common citizens will find it convenient to find almost all the important offices in the same building. Dr.
Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said on Sunday that Bastar region of the state will become free from Naxal violence very soon and fourfold development will be seen in this region in the near future. Dr. Singh gave this assurance while mentioning about several development programmes of the state government that are being run in different districts of Bastar. He was addressing as the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony of the Lifeline Express medical camp at Jagdalpur, the headquarters of Bastar division.
School Students from Bastar (Jagdalpur) district on Saturday paid courtesy call on Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh on Saturday at his residence in capital city Raipur. These students have been selected from various high schools and higher secondary schools of seven development blocks of Bastar district for educational tour. They have visited Science Centre, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Vivekananda Sarovar, Indoor Stadium and other places in capital city Raipur. Soon they will visit Bhilai Steel Plant also.
State Government's Animal Husbandry Development Department has distributed nearly 37 lakh 13 thousand chickens to more than 76 thousand beneficiaries in previous three years, under Backyard Scheme. This includes the beneficiaries of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward classes and General category as well. In year 2011-12, 14 lakh 29 thousand chickens were distributed to 25 thousand beneficiaries whereas in year 2013-14 nearly 13 lakh 24 thousand chickens were distributed to 26 thousand beneficiaries.
